One of our latest schools for E4Education was St Mary’s in Ascot. This has to be the most beautiful school I have ever had the privelege of working at. I may attempt to add some ambient sound to help capture a little of the atmosphere. Watch this space.

Valley Cruises - Luxury Narrowboat hire

I met David of Valley Cruises at the Crick Boat Show along with many other boat builders and hire firms. David instantly realised the benefits of our fullscreen virtual tours and this is the first of their 11 boats to offer them.

I was amazed at the quality of these boats and while it presented a challenge to work in a relatively small space the build quality and décor made my job of presenting them easy.

And what was David’s reaction to the proofs I showed him…

“WOW…. Fantastic, Sensational, Astonishing, Brilliant…” was the email reply, or at least the past I can repeat! I think we can safely say that’s another satisfied customer!

Bibliotek Club and Restaurant

Bibliotek is a superb new Club and Restaurant in Northampton, very worthy of virtual tours. The lighting was dark and challenging but we feel we captured the mood well. Visit their website

Fifteen Restaurant

Fifteen restaurant was created by Jamie to inspire disadvataged young people. They have had 37 young people graduate and many of them are now working full time in some of the world’s best restaurants.

The restaurant was made famous 5 years ago through the Channel Four show, ‘Jamie’s Kitchen’ and it was a privilege to work for them on this project.

Tresham Institute of Further and Higher Education

Tresham Institute approached up about creating a virtual tour of their new campus in Kettering, Northamptonshire. As the building is built on 4 levels, all visible from the open foyer area we chose to create the tour in a central point on each level and link off to photographs of additional areas. MK TWO Business Centres

Based in the centre of Bletchley on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, MK:Two Business Centres provides various business solutions to a whole host of business sectors from 1 person start-up workshops to serviced offices or warehouse facilities to national head office solutions. An audio commentary was chosen as an added sales tool to make the experience more effective.

Aldingbourne Primary School

Aldingbourne Primary School asked if they could have a simple floorplan as a way of navigating through the school tour. The school had great facilities, especially in their playground as you will see.

Thomas Deacon Academy

The Thomas Deacon Academy in Peterborough is the UK’s most expensive state school and one of the largest in Europe with over 2,200 pupils. Optical FX were commissioned to create a virtual tour that would allow web visitors to take a look through the school. We chose to use 360° panoramas in the main areas and then still photography to allow you to enter several of the rooms.

2 Excel Aviation

2 Excel Aviation Ltd is home of The Blades Aerobatic Team and the world’s only globally accredited aerobatic airline. It was great to create this tour and use some new features such as the movie playing on the screen in the Crew room. It was also a challenge getting the tour in the cockpit but the end result is the next best thing to being there.

Homeseeker Park Homes

Homeseeker Park Homes, one of the UK’s largest residential park home manufacturers commissioned Optical FX to create virtual tours in each of the 9 homes in their range. Homeseeker have a great ’show village’ at their Irthlingborough site so we added a plan of the site which let us link into each of the homes and see the village too.
